Radford Noon Rotary will host a dedication of “A Tribute to Heroes” on the grounds of Glencoe Mansion on Memorial Day Monday, May 26th, at 1 pm. The event will be the official start of “A Tribute to Heroes” display of American flags sponsored to honor heroes of all types from service members to first responders and to individuals who have made an impact on someone’s life. 

The opening ceremony will include remarks from multiple members of the community, including Virginia Delegate Jason Ballard, Radford Mayor David Horton, Radford VFW Commander Bob Hajny, and Pastor Morgan Whitfield of the Radford Presbyterian Church. The ceremony will also include bagpiper Jayna Sallis and an Honor Guard and 21-gun salute from Radford VFW Post 776.
